Horses must be very capable to play polo. Therefore we use specially trained polo ponies, you will soon discover your favorite one! If you stay for a couple of days, we are happy to teach you the secrets of training polo ponies.
If you have already your own polo equipment, feel free to bring it along. Otherwise the Argentina Polo Academy will sponsor your supply with everything you need while you are here.
Tipp: Argentina is the perfect place to buy professional polo equipment, we show you where, the shops are very nearby our polo fields!
Safety of both riders and horses is important for us. This means theat although we train every day, we cannot use the polo field because of the weather or other safety reasons. However, in such cases, we will offer you an alternative program such as how to train young horses, theory classes, stick & ball on the ground etc. etc.. There is always a lot to do!
Sure you can! We do have big paddocks, they can stay for a some days, weeks or months and will be perfectly cared for by our grooms.
No, at the Academy you can start from scratch, your trainers will pick you up at whatever level you are. No need to get any prior riding training!
There are several options: the Polo Hotel, hotels and hostals nearby, private houses or the tents at the Polo Camp. We are happy to help you with the reservation.
